Current poll results

From Real Clear Politics:

An average of four polls indicates that 50.8% of those questioned think that the country is on wrong track.  But an average of five polls tracks Obama’s approval rating at 60.8%.  Not sure how people aren’t connecting the two of those numbers yet but I’m confident that it will happen eventually.  Incidentally, as usual, there are a lot of us that disapprove of what Congress is up to.  Not that they seem to care…

Obama’s approval rating…hmm, how come no pollsters ever call my house?

Inauguration: Obama approval rating high

That link will take you to a little blurb in today’s Seattle P-I where they claim that Obama’s approval rating is approximately 76%.  I don’t know why it even grabbed my attention anymore but I saw it and just laughed out loud.  I guess if we’ve elected him President of the United States–unarguably the most powerful position on the planet–based on absolutely no genuine accomplishments and an amorphous agenda of liberalism disguised as a good kind of change, then what the heck!  100% approval rating!  Excellent!  Outstanding!  He’ll probably win 100% of the re-election vote in 4 years, too.

With economy in shambles, Congress gets a raise

“A crumbling economy, more than 2 million constituents who have lost their jobs this year, and congressional demands of CEOs to work for free did not convince lawmakers to freeze their own pay.”

So we’re supposed to believe that the congress with record low approval ratings deserves even more of that substance that they love the most–tax dollars?
